Skopje, 7-10 May 2012

Within the visit of the NATO MAP Team to the Republic of Macedonia from 7 to 10 May 2012, the NATO Office of Security representative conducted an inspection to the Directorate for Security of Classified Information and the registries for classified information located at the ministries and other state organs. The results of the inspection determine the development and the level of protection of NATO classified information in the Republic of Macedonia since the last inspection and they will enter the final NATO report on the accomplishment of the Membership Action Plan of the Republic of Macedonia to NATO. The NOS inspector initially assessed the situation as positive and provided the Directorate with some additional documents related to the information security of classified information.

Skopje, March 03-05, 2010

In the period from 03 to 05 March 2010, as a part of the regular inspection visits program of the NATO Office of Security (NOS) to the Directorate for Security of Classified Information, Mr. Robert Keil and Mr. Josef Holubik visited the Republic of Macedonia as part of the NATO MAP team visit to the Republic of Macedonia to assess its preparations for NATO membership. After the inspection in all domains of the work of the Directorate, the NOS representatives gave a very favourable assessment of the progress achieved by the Directorate and the efforts being made for its improvement.

Belgium, December 2009

In December 2009, the regular inspection visit was accomplished to the registries for classified information of the Directorate for Security of Classified Information located at the Missions of the Republic of Macedonia to NATO and EC in Brussels and at the PCC in SHAPE in Mons.

Skopje, April 27-30, 2009

Within the regular inspection visits program of the NATO Office of Security (NOS) to the Directorate for Security of Classified Information (DSCI), Mr. Robert Keil, NOS representative, visited the Republic of Macedonia as part of the NATO MAP team visit to the Republic of Macedonia to assess its preparations for NATO membership. The inspection visit resulted in favorable assessment of the progress achieved by the DSCI.

Skopje, February 2009

In February 2009, the Directorate for Security of Classified Information conducted a control visit to the Deposit Insurance Fund in order to inspect the conditions for handling classified information, as well as to conduct a short training for the personnel handling classified information.
