Bilateral negotiation with Montenegro

Upon invitation of the director of the National Security Authority of Montenegro, bilateral negotiations for harmonization of the text of the agreement on exchange and mutual protection between the governments of the two countries were held on December 24, 2018 in Podgorica. The Macedonian four-member delegation, headed by the director of the Directorate for Security of Classified Information, consisted of representatives of the Directorate, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Interior. The Montenegrin delegation, consisting of NSA representatives, was headed by the NSA director.
Along with the successfully accomplished negotiations, a number of issues of common interest for the national security authorities of the both countries were discussed at meeting, including the Montenegrin experiences related to its accession to NATO.
