Workshop organized by RACVIAC and the Military Academy

Ohrid, 12-14 May 2015

 

Representatives of the Directorate for Security of Classified Information participated in the workshop on Building a Cyber Resilient Society in SEE, held on 12-14 May 2015 in Ohrid, organized by the Centre for Security Cooperation RACVIAC and the Military Academy General Mahailo Apostolski – Skopje. The workshop was supported by the Federal Republic of Germany.
The workshop was attended by experts from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Turkey. Along with the speakers from the Military Academy, the pool of lecturers also included representatives of the OSCE, the Ministry of Interior of Albania, the Croatian National CERT, the College of Applied Science in Safety from Zagreb, the University of Zagreb, Sheffield University Law School from Thessaloniki and the European University from Skopje.
The aim of the workshop was the experts from the SEE region to discuss global, regional and national challenges, needs and perspectives in building cyber resilient societies and to set up a platform for future regional cooperation in this context.
